Welcome!

The Association of Osteobiology

We are a selective organization for scientific and educational purposes for scientists committed to the study of the biology of bone and mineral metabolism.

Why Join Us

We are a dedicated group of scientists devoted to the advancement of bone and mineral metabolism.

Members in over 9 Countries

We have members from over 9 countries and we invite new members to join us. This requires nomination and seconding from 2 members of the Association, as well as an up to date full CV. Inquiries can be made to our e-mail address, email@osteobiology.org. At present (2023), annual dues are $60.

Annual Dinner

Each year, we organize a dinner which coincides with the annual meeting of the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research. Members can bring a guest or junior investigator. During the dinner, we have a compelling speaker give an interesting presentation. The dinner is an opportunity for senior and junior investigators to interact and advance their research in a convivial atmosphere.

Academics & Professionals

Members of the Association of Osteobiology are leaders in the bone field in the United States of America and other countries. They are academics and professionals who have contributed substantially to research into bone biology.

Collaboration

Through membership, attendance at our annual dinner and opportunities to interact, collaborations are established. These lead to new scientific advancements in our field.

About

The Association was founded by
Dr. Louis Avioli, Dr. Carlo Gennari, and Dr. John Termine almost 30 years ago

with the goal of advancing scientific knowledge related to bone biology by fostering academic exchange between leaders in the bone field in the United States and other countries. These exchanges are usually fostered by our annual dinner where members and invited new investigators have the opportunity to interact in an informal, collegial atmosphere and where we have an interesting local speaker. Let us know if you wish to join us and we will send you information.
