Dear Association of Osteobiology Members:
On behalf of the Council, I would like to let you know that we are organizing a Virtual Happy Hour(s) for Osteobiology concurrent with the virtual 2020 ASBMR meeting.
The Virtual Happy Hour will take place Friday September 11, 2020, at 6:00 pm US EDT. This will be just after the ASBMR Town Hall Meeting which will run from 4:30-5:30pm that day.
The Virtual Happy Hour will include a short presentation from our invited speaker, Dr. Tadataka Yamada (member of the NAM, ex-Gates Foundation, ex-Takeda Pharmaceuticals) followed by questions, then breakouts (“Tables”) so that you can network with friends and colleagues and have your mentees meet with them too. We will provide further details shortly.
We hope you will all make it a priority to attend. This will be an opportunity to catch up, even if we are all in different time zones. It will be wine/after dinner drinks for some, morning/afternoon coffee/tea for others.
As well, we continue to accept nominations for new members. Please address them to the Council, along with two letters of support and the nominee CV.
We hope that you share our view that the Association of Osteobiology provides a unique experience for members and networking opportunities for your junior associates. Please reserve this time on your calendars and we look forward to seeing you.
